ATVstore is a new sister company to MXstore and while it would have been easy to develop something exactly the same, the customer is somewhat different.
As their goal is to have the largest range of ATV and UTV gear in Australia. They needed a brand that was going to appeal to every driver. Whether it's a farmer who uses their vehicle to work around their farm, or a commercial miner who uses it out in the desert to prospect minerals or a surf lifesaver who needs it to patrol the beach, the brand needed to appeal to everyone.
People who use ATV's, UTV's and Side-by-Side's need their equipment to last. It needs to weather the harshest conditions, so the brand needed to be bold and strong to show that it was trustworthy and reliable.
Through a thorough brand strategy, we developed a brand that was more akin to the ATV/UTV user. Leaning into the brand having to be bold and strong, we developed a clean wordmark and acronym logo that showed strength and movement through the use of angles and was also a little futuristic to showcase that they would be pioneers and industry leaders in the industry.
Using colour, we represented the main types of terrain (sand, forest and desert) which instantly gave the brand a more rural outlook.
We also brought in topographic elements to showcase varying terrain as a pattern system to give it more of a tangible look and feel.
The result was a brand that is not only strong and bold, but timeless as well.
